My mother has passed

Gloria passed suddenly but peacefully on my father’s birthday, January 24 in Vineyard Haven at age 95 years and 11 months. My sister has been staying with her for about six months and reported that Gloria had been living her normal, busy, and social life — going to exercise class, singing in the chorus, she had even just renewed her drivers license. On the day Gloria passed, she did some yard work, felt tired, went up to her bedroom and lay down for a nap.

She lived a wonderfully full life of joy and service to others. There is sadness, but no sorrow. There is no death, only a change of worlds.
