A veil of sorrow
Lies on my dusty floor
Wrapped around your memories

Hurts so much I cannot feel the pain

Please tell me if it ever ends
In the space where ghost and lover blend

Half-heard whispers
Float in my empty room
Falling softly
In the sullen gloom

Shattered mirrors reflect
my fractured face
A splintered image
That can’t I can’t erase


Echoes of a dream
we threw away
Lost in the winds
of yesterday

Fighting chaos
In my broken mind
Through the wasteland
I wander, blind
