How can you leave Japan at 4 PM — actually 6 PM because of an air conditioning malfunction on the plane — and get to the West Coast before you started on the same day? Why because of the International Dateline, of course!

When we got to Narita, because I was a bit sensitized to dogs and eating, I noticed these signs.

They don’t want you to eat your pets or bacon, sausage, or ham! Talk about managing your diet!
