Clouds on Haleakala

Haleakala has many micro-climates. At the top, it may look like this.

In the clouds, raining with a strong wind. But a couple of thousand feet lower it can look like this.

Haruno is visiting the spots that her kahiko “mele” references. She is experiencing what she must express in her hula.

This was heavy. I have one assistant, but had to call one more person over to help turn the pipe for the final shaping.
